This policy explains how Catalyst Technologies, based in Damascus, Syria, handles information submitted through the Sync Partners (Sync) website, including client, investor, partnership, supplier, collaboration, and closed-beta inquiries. Sync is not available to the public yet.
Information we collect
When you start a conversation with us, we may ask for your name, organization, email, phone or WhatsApp number, city, country, organization website, interest type, preferred contact method, and message. With your permission, we measure how visitors use this website, such as page and section views, button clicks, scroll depth, engaged time, device class, language, referral host, and campaign parameters, including approximate country, region, and city inferred from the network connection. We do not store raw IP addresses, precise coordinates, postal codes, full browser user-agent strings, or form contents in analytics. Location may be inaccurate, for example when using a VPN or mobile network.
How we use it
We use inquiry information to understand your proposal, assess client and partnership opportunities, reply to you, plan follow-ups, prevent abuse, and improve our launch and business strategy. We use consented analytics to understand website usability, campaign performance, and the path from a visit to an inquiry. Submitting an inquiry does not create a customer, investment, employment, or partnership relationship.
Service providers and storage
Inquiry and analytics data are processed by our isolated website API and stored in our managed PostgreSQL database on Render. Cloudflare provides bot verification, DNS, and edge protection. Contact fields are encrypted before database storage. If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, WhatsApp processes that conversation under its own policy.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell inquiry or analytics information. Access is limited to authorized Sync Super Admin operators and service providers needed to run and secure the website. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights, or to investigate abuse.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses browser storage for language preferences and your analytics choice. Optional analytics begin only after you choose “Allow analytics.” If allowed, a random visitor identifier and session identifier are stored in your browser; they do not contain your name, email, or phone number. You can reopen “Privacy choices” at any time and select “Necessary only.” We do not use advertising pixels.
Retention and your choices
Our planned retention window is 90 days for raw analytics events and 730 days for non-identifying daily aggregates. Inquiry records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, operational records, or legal obligations. You may ask us to access, correct, or remove your inquiry information through the WhatsApp or phone options on the website. We may need to verify the request before acting.
Security and international processing
We use an isolated public API, strict request validation, rate limits, Cloudflare Turnstile, restricted database permissions, encrypted contact fields, protected Super Admin access, and audit records. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Render and Cloudflare may process data in countries with different data-protection rules.
Children
The website and inquiry form are intended for adults acting for themselves or an organization. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children.
