What is Marketing Studio?

Running a restaurant is demanding enough without having to worry about graphic design. Between managing your kitchen, coordinating staff, and keeping customers happy, the last thing you need is to spend hours wrestling with complicated design software just to update your menu or post something on social media. That is exactly why Sync includes Marketing Studio — a complete suite of design tools built directly into your restaurant management dashboard.

Marketing Studio gives every restaurant owner the power to create professional-quality marketing materials without any design experience, without hiring a freelance designer, and without switching between multiple apps. Everything you need is right inside Sync, and every design automatically pulls in your restaurant's branding, products, and pricing.

With Marketing Studio, you can create:

Every asset you create is saved to your Assets Library, where you can view, re-export, share, and manage your entire collection of marketing materials. Think of Marketing Studio as your restaurant's personal design department — available 24/7, and it already knows your brand.

💡

Pro tip: All Marketing Studio tools render content in both Arabic and English automatically. If your menu has bilingual product names and descriptions, they will appear correctly in every design — no extra configuration needed.

Accessing Marketing Studio

Marketing Studio lives inside the Marketing & Engagement section of your Sync dashboard. Once you log in, look for the Marketing & Engagement group in the main navigation sidebar. Inside, you will find each tool organized as its own module:

Each tool opens in a clean, focused workspace. You select your options, preview the result in full screen with pinch-to-zoom, and export when you are happy with the design. There is no learning curve — if you can tap a few buttons and choose from a list, you can create stunning marketing materials.

📌

Note: Marketing Studio uses your existing product catalog and restaurant branding. Make sure your products, categories, and logo are set up in Sync before diving in — this way, every design you create will be on-brand from the start.

The Menu Generator

Your menu is the most important piece of marketing your restaurant produces. It is the first thing customers see, and it directly influences what they order. The Menu Generator lets you turn your Sync product catalog into a beautifully designed, print-ready menu in just a few minutes.

Choosing a Template

The Menu Generator offers multiple professionally designed templates to match different restaurant styles. Whether you run a fine-dining establishment, a casual cafe, or a fast-food joint, there is a template that fits your vibe. Each template handles typography, spacing, product grouping, and bilingual text rendering automatically.

When you open the Menu Generator, you will see a gallery of template options. Simply tap the one that appeals to you, and the generator will immediately preview your actual menu items inside that layout. You can switch between templates at any time to compare how your menu looks in different styles.

Selecting Products and Categories

You have full control over which products appear on your menu. You can include your entire catalog or select specific categories and individual items. This is especially useful if you want to create separate menus for different occasions — a lunch menu, a dessert menu, a drinks-only menu, or a catering menu.

1

Open the Menu Generator

Navigate to Marketing & Engagement and tap Menu Generator. Choose a template from the gallery to get started.

2

Select Your Products

Pick the categories or individual products you want to include. The preview updates in real time as you add or remove items.

3

Choose Orientation

Select portrait (vertical) for a traditional menu feel, or landscape (horizontal) for a wider layout that works well for table tents and displays.

4

Preview and Export

Tap the preview to see your menu in full screen with pinch-to-zoom. When you are satisfied, export as a high-resolution PDF for printing, as an image for digital sharing, or send directly to your printer.

Portrait vs. Landscape

The orientation you choose depends on how you plan to use the menu. Portrait orientation is the classic choice for folded menus and single-page handouts. It works best when you have a moderate number of items and want a traditional restaurant feel. Landscape orientation is ideal for table tents, counter displays, and digital screens. It gives you more horizontal space, which is particularly effective for showcasing product photos alongside descriptions.

Exporting Your Menu

Once your menu looks perfect, you have three export options:

Every exported menu is automatically saved to your Assets Library, so you can always go back, re-download, or share it later.

The Poster Generator

Posters are one of the most effective ways to promote specific products, announce events, or communicate important updates to your customers. The Poster Generator lets you create eye-catching promotional materials in minutes, with templates designed specifically for restaurant use cases.

Poster Types

The Poster Generator supports four distinct poster types, each optimized for a different purpose:

Size Presets

Not every poster goes in the same place. The Poster Generator includes multiple size presets so your design fits its intended destination perfectly. Whether you need a large A3 poster for your storefront window, a standard A4 for in-restaurant posting, or a compact A5 flyer for handing out to customers, the size presets handle the dimensions and layout adjustments automatically.

Customization Options

Each poster type comes with sensible defaults that already look great, but you can customize everything to match your vision. Adjust text, swap products, change colors, and tweak the layout until the poster is exactly what you want. The full-screen preview lets you inspect every detail with pinch-to-zoom before committing to an export.

🎨

Pro tip: The Product Highlight poster type works especially well for daily specials. Create a new one each morning with that day's featured dish, export it as an image, and share it on your social channels. It takes less than two minutes.

The Social Post Generator

Social media is where your customers discover you, remember you, and decide to order from you. But creating consistently good social media content is time-consuming, especially when you need to worry about image dimensions, character limits, and captions. The Social Post Generator solves all of that.

Platform Formats

Different social media platforms require different image dimensions. A square post that looks perfect on Instagram will be cropped awkwardly on a Facebook cover. The Social Post Generator offers platform-specific format presets so your content always looks native to the platform you are posting on:

Select your platform, choose a design, and the generator handles all the sizing and layout adjustments. Your product photos, restaurant logo, and brand colors are integrated automatically.

AI-Powered Captions

Coming up with a fresh, engaging caption for every post is one of the hardest parts of social media management. Marketing Studio includes an AI-powered caption generator that writes captions for you based on the content of your post. Select a product, choose a tone, and the AI produces a ready-to-use caption complete with relevant hashtags.

You can use the caption as-is, edit it to add your personal touch, or generate a new one until you find the perfect fit. The AI understands restaurant context, so the captions it produces are natural, appetizing, and on-brand — not generic marketing speak.

1

Choose a Platform Format

Select Instagram Square, Facebook Cover, or Story format depending on where you plan to post.

2

Select Products and Design

Pick the products you want to feature and choose a visual style. The generator creates the post using your actual product photos and branding.

3

Generate a Caption

Tap the AI caption button to get a ready-to-use caption with hashtags. Edit it if you like, or regenerate for a different option.

4

Export and Share

Export the image and copy the caption. Share directly to your social media platforms or save to your Assets Library for later.

Sharing Directly

Once your social post is ready, you can share it directly from Sync using your device's native sharing options. This means you can send the image straight to Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, or any other app without having to save it, find it in your gallery, and re-upload it. The entire workflow — from opening the generator to posting on social media — can be completed in under three minutes.

Digital Signage

If your restaurant has a screen or TV display, Digital Signage lets you create attractive in-restaurant display layouts that showcase your menu, promotions, or announcements to customers while they wait. Instead of a static, outdated poster taped to the wall, you get a dynamic, professional-looking digital display.

The Digital Signage tool offers multiple layout options designed for different display scenarios. You can create a full-screen menu board that shows all your categories and prices, a promotional display that rotates through featured items, or an announcement board for daily specials and upcoming events.

Each layout is designed to be readable from a distance and to look great on screens of any size. Your products, prices, and branding are pulled in automatically, so the display is always current — when you update a price in Sync, the signage reflects it immediately.

📺

Pro tip: Use Digital Signage for your ordering counter display. Customers can see your full menu with prices while they wait, which speeds up the ordering process and reduces the number of questions your staff needs to answer.

Managing Your Assets

Every menu, poster, social post, and signage layout you create in Marketing Studio is automatically saved to your Assets Library. This is your central hub for all marketing materials — a searchable, organized collection of everything you have ever produced.

From the Assets Library, you can:

The Assets Library is especially valuable when you want to reuse or repurpose previous designs. If you created a poster for Ramadan last year and want to use a similar design this year, you can find it in your library, see exactly how it looked, and use it as a reference for your new design. No more digging through phone galleries or cloud storage folders trying to find that one image you created months ago.

1

Open Assets Library

Navigate to Marketing & Engagement and tap Assets Library. All your exported materials are organized here.

2

Browse and Preview

Scroll through your assets or search for a specific design. Tap any asset to view it in full screen with pinch-to-zoom.

3

Share or Re-export

Use the share button to send the asset to any app, or re-export it in a different format for a new use case.
